Conventional wisdom says bloggers must never take time off, but it also says they're supposed to sneer at conventional wisdom. We are contemplating this troubling paradox at the beach. As we mentioned before, in late June we began a sort of warm-weather hiatus/slackoff that we thought would only continue through July but now appears to be foisting itself upon August, though we do expect to pop in now and then.
In the meantime, we have asked the financial markets to create a distraction and keep everyone busy, which seems to be going quite nicely.
